HOW IT ALL BEGAN The creation of BoredKnowMore is a result of a parent having common challenges with kids being bored. Helen Brown, the site’s creator, came to the realization that there needs to be a central place for kids, teens and young adults to go to find out things to do in their community and elsewhere. Before BoredKnowMore.com, searching for age related events and activities was a time consuming and frustrating exercise, often times not providing the information sought. Having a central site for all information makes it so simple for kids (and parents) to find information, and for the vendors, event planners and facilities to get their word out.
